What We Are Stella's Secret Closet is an Online Women's Accessories Boutique created with the 21st Century Woman's tastes in mind. Each accessory is picked out to fit different moments she'll experience in life. A first date, her friends wedding, a ladies night out, a trip to the beach, a romantic evening in, a job interview or maybe just lunch with the family all while knowing she is doing something amazing: Helping out great causes. Accessories complete her outfit and bring out her personality, but it's the giving back to charities that make the pieces so meaningful. They're an expression of how she's feeling, where she wants to go, who she wants to be and how she wants to be presented. She is a woman of class, intelligence and a sexy-sassy demeanor. What's her secret? The weapons for every day life she holds in her closet! They are strong, of quality, of beauty and they allowed her to give back to the world. All she has to do is accessorize her outfit and she is taking part in something beautiful. Be a part of the movement, give back, look and feel great! Shop Stella's Secret Closet. Who We Are Stella's Secret Closet was created by Amanda T. Bohorquez and Claudia S. Medina in 2011. The two sisters set out to create SSC in hopes to (1) Put their creative minds to work, (2) Help woman all across the nation with their fashion needs and (3) Give back to their communities near and far. There are two things most shoppers love to do: (A) Shop! and (B) Help others. With this information in mind and a little elbow grease Amanda and Claudia created Stella's Secret Closet. They would give shoppers an opportunity to own things they would love and wear the items knowing they were helping great causes -- big and small. With this they decided every year SSC would take a portion of the annual profits and make a donation to a charity. Every item purchased through Stella's Secret Closet would be used to give back to the chosen Cause(s) for that year. Always having been participants of community service and contributors to fundraisers, Amanda and Claudia knew this project would be something they could not only be immensely passionate about, but also have so much fun with. The idea that women would have a place where they could purchase great fantasy jewelry and beauty products AND give back to a Cause without splitting time between the two just seemed like a life changing opportunity; thus, the two women made it happen! Where Are We Stella's Secret Closet is located in the Williamsburg, Brooklyn area in the state of New York. Although SSC only sells items through the website www.StellasSecretCloset.com, you can find the creators browsing about the NYC fashion scene scooping up the newest pieces, best creations and inspiring info! How Do We Work Throughout the year the owners of SSC will network with various organizations in order to find great Causes that SSC and their Clients can give back to. Both large and small organizations (501c3's) are considered. Once an organization(s) is decided on, their information will be made available on the SSC website, as well as the SSC blog. As the year progresses and items are purchased Clients will be able to view information about these organizations 24/7 and are welcome to make separate donations through that organization as well. At the end of each year a portion of the profits made from SSC will be directly given to the organization(s) that had been chosen that year. When the donation is made all Clients will receive an email congratulating them for all of their support, donations and purchases.
